With the recent nursing examination, the passers are now looking for the venue and schedules for the oathtaking and registration for the June 2013 Nurses - NLE examination.
According to the Philippine Republic Act No. 9173 or the Philippine Nursing Act of 2002, Section 16 "all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice." - which means that Nursing board exam passers needs to undergo to an oathtaking.
As of this posting, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) - Board of Nursing (BoN) had not yet released any dates for the oathtaking schedules and venues on different PRC Regional Testing Centers.
For the meantime, please be informed that the PRC had released a new guidelines for the oath taking rites to all nursing board exam passers in the country. The guidelines which was released last year (2012) states that group oath-taking can be done with their respective schools in coordination with the PRC-BoN.
Aside from the respective schools, the PRC Regional offices may also hold group oath taking, also with the clearance from the PRC-BoN.
This post will be updated as soon as we heard any OFFICIAL news from the PRC.

REQUIREMENTS
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
- 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession
- Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2013-2016.
