ABS-CBN Network Filed a Case Against Willie Revillame
abs-cbn answered the case filed by Willie Revillame
Let's get ready to ramboooooooooool (ramble) !!!
The heat is on indeed as abs-cbn network filed a case against their former employee, Mr. Willie Revillame.
After Willie Revillame threaten his bosses at abs-cbn that he will resign (read his resignation letter here) if they did not fire Jobert Sucaldito.
The network did not of course fired Jobert, maybe because it's illegal to fire employees without any valid grounds. With that, Revillame took an immediate leave from his obligations at wowowee that lead him submitting his resignation letter to his employer who fed him for more than five years.
To cut the story short, Revillame filed a case against his previous network. He asked the court to confirm the ineffectiveness of his contract with the network and he asked more than eleven million pesos as damages.
The network replied with a four hundred thousands plus suit against their former employee, Revillame, for breaching his contract. It has been made public that the contract between abs-cbn and Willie said that Revillame is still bound until september next year, 2011.
More than four hundred thousand will going to be a big deal even for someone like Revillame, who had reported before earning more than a million per day.
Now what do you think?

The contract with ABS-CBN which created Wawawee and the hiring of the host, Willie Revillame supersedes all subsidiary contracts which binds Mr. Revillame up to September 30,2011. The conditions inherent with that contract which comprise of guidelines and limitations as
ReplyDeletethe agreement summarizes must be enforced, subjecting all the show formats, host's character and stuffs, show presentations, purposes, required ratings, changes, and etc. must conform with what the network ABS-CBN decides and adheres.
Mr. Revillame must follow and respect these rules and regulations as agreed in the context of the contract without agitation and further retaliations in contradicting this case scenario will just make his case worse. He should have abide with these stipulated regulations, which only the management could modify, tolerate and change based on the management general assessments, as publicly accepted ratings and always beneficial to the acceptable image of the network.
His ignorance in the knowledge of the law makes his scenario more complicated, which degrades further his own questionable personality including his representations. The fastest he goes up the hardest he will fall down and flat.
I think you are absolutely right on your assessment. Willie Revillame thought he became an undesposable commodity, having contributed short fame and acceptable earnings potential to ABS-CBN. His being the host to the noontime show WAWAWEE, costs the network too much money and unless it proved beneficial in justifying the netted earnings, the show should have been cancelled long time ago. The contributing talent of the management staff and strong sponsorship program of ABS-CBN were instrumental in making this show stabled for the last 5 years and not entirely predicated on the contribution of the host's assumed talent, if any?
ReplyDeleteHowever, The increasing waves of dissatisfied viewers on his questionable personality, his obviously growing head and arrogance, and the degrading side comments made to his co-hosts, guests, and show personnels, created a significant downfall trend on viewers in patronizing the show. The percentage of comments on this segment prove this conclusive premise.
Yet, above everything else, the network totally ignored, permitted, and tolerated its own rulings in allowing aired personal project advertisements. It even down graded his controversial issues on several past scenarios, like comments against the showing of burial clips on the former president of the P.I. The show is doomed anyway to an approaching end, regardless.
This person is a looser and will always be a looser even big breaks like this BUMP his way. He will simply react on his own selfish and weary character - "A SELF-CENTERED, DISHONEST, AND DISRESPECTFUL PERSONALITY."
This is the best to avoid any controversies in the future which will implicate ABS-CBN. This personality will always bring trouble to any public network he affiliates with. He has been an insult and an embarrassment to the educated and classy Filipinos. His family background and up bringing created an indelible mark on his persona,

He pretends to sympathize with the less fortunate, sick, and old, but in reality, he down grades those segment of our society as shown on live T.V. He always praise himself about his accomplishments, and show-off by mentioning his temporary acquired holdings. He claimed that he was an extra-ordinary person, because he rose from their very ranks. He drags this own made impressions almost everyday, which became so ridiculous because the general viewers knew his background and it was the opposite. He thought he knew how to sing, but the songs he created only carry one monotonous tune of different lyrics. I just wonder how many times he takes to finish a segment in recording these songs. "No wonder he can't sing live."
I hope he pays for his arrogance and his "Kayabangan" in general.
We should all be thankful to Mr. Willie Revillame for showing us and giving us a true example of a person we do NOT wish to be...ARROGANT, SELF CENTERED, MANIPULATIVE and everything else that we will be ashamed about ourselves if we do it. Thank you very much Willie and may you grow up to be a matured person one day.

TV5 had becoming bigger and bigger with its new management, and tagging with a controversial person like Willie gave them FREE publicity from other networks on all form of media.

May I please suggest a new show for Willie Revillame? Will the new name be "BOWOWWEE"? What audience will be interested to watch it? Will tails be a requirement to be a contestant? Should the audience be compelled to sit and not bark or bite?

He initiated all the controversies, which disrupted and indirectly affected the reputation and image of the network. Then, out of stupidity, forced the network to cast the bigger stone on him above all the favors and accommodations extended to please his big ego. He retaliated badly because his already ruined reputation has been touched. He is indeed a disgrace to the show business world and a disappointment to the whole Filipino viewers.

Jobert's comment was a constructive criticism. A true friendly recommendation that made sense, in behalf of the educated viewers and the network itself. HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY REWARD AND GRATIFY FAILURES IN SCHOOL AND ENCOURAGE FEELING PROUD OF 75% OR LOWER GRADES IN HIGH SCHOOL? This was probably his grades in school that he was proud-off, which can never be a college candidate. It just shown what kind of viewers he can attract and communicate effectively well.

undesirable and unworthy individuals in show bus. Have this guy suffer form all his mischievous practices.
While on suspension, some talks between Willie Revillame and the management staff of ABS-CBN was permitted in courtesy to Willie and unless the talks were written, there was no assumed agreement or arrangement that prevailed. Willie cannot assumed that his coming back to Wawawee was confirmed and any disclosures he made after that meeting were ssumed null and void and non-conclusive, unless documented in written.
ReplyDeleteWhatever assertion he made was his own assumption and did not reflect the actual decision of the ABS-CBN management staff. Moreover, the suspension should have been discussed and forbearance of his self decided leave of absence was his own making. It was not the decision of the network for him to be absent for an indefinite period of time itself, leaving the show for some controversial issue, which jeopardize the rating of the network. This was a retaliation out of his demand to terminate another media personnel. The network should have just fired him for the good of everybody, but honored and favored his contribution in rating that just waited for his decision to came back. A disaster..!
The network, after all the past controversies, Was absolutely right in not accepting and welcome his return on a silver platter. He should have humbly asked for forbearance and understanding, instead of asking some changes and requirements for his return. It was a disgrace at all angles of tolerances. THE NETWORK SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY SOFT HEART ON THE THINGS HE DECEIVINGLY DECLARED AND EXPOSED RECENTLY ON TELEVISION. HE JUST DEMONSTRATED WHAT KIND OF PERSON THEY ARE DEALING WITH. Network must never consider any forbearance on their case against this looser. By popularity demand and recent tally, almost 3/4% of the whole viewers internationally disgraced Mr. Revillame. His obvious retaliation by announcing to start another show is doomed to fail and regardless of all the manipulations and publications deviating to favor his notions will never hold water. To be successful, sponsorship and strong connection is very vital in show business. He does not have the faculties to support this. The sponsors were effected and did not want to commit to failing host of controversial personality. Without the help of the network, any show he starts would just be a failure. The ABS-CBN strong management staff made all necessary connection to help made Wawawee a success. He always mention that everything he did was for the poor people, which was really never demonstrated in all his shows. ReplyDeleteThe talk with ABS-CBN was requested by Mr. Revillame himself because of his eagerness to return to the show. The nature of the Talk is to request and ask the network if he can already be permitted to return earlier than his suspension. The offer given or mentioned was not his return to Wawawee, but rather the proposed show which is supposed to be pre-recorded. The preparation was started and the format was arranged verbally as a proposal. Willie's interpretation was wrong and misguided the media. Like what he is trying to imply now. The Wawawee was terminated because there was no assurance for his indefinite leave of absence and his decision to return to Wawawee, as he threaten to resign. ABS-CBN had no choice but to decide to change the program to "Pilipinas Win Na Win" for this very reason. Challenging his employer and demanding exorbitant conditions of his return, is too much to comprehend, considering that the whole scenario was all his fault.
What is he trying to prove....? He initiated everything that bumarang back on him because of his own inborn stupidity......!
On his retaliation, he disclosed that he is establishing his own show through the help of another rival network. I WILL CHALLENGE PERSONALLY MR. WILLIE REVILLAME THAT I WILL DONATE $500,000 TO HIS NETWORK, IF IT WILL BE AIRED THIS MONTH OF OCTOBER AS HE ANNOUNCED. IF HE FAILS, THIS AMOUNT WILL GO STRAIGHT TO PILIPINAS WIN NA WIN FOR

According to the secretary, the doctor is a renowned humanitarian connected to politics and own several commercial properties and will be retiring pretty soon. This $500,000 is a donation to lower his taxable retirement income and supports ABS-CBN on its decisions against Willie Revillame.

He will be visiting our country this December and will award the funds to either ABS-CBN or to Mr. Revillame. The challenge will be internationally announced two days prior the anticipated opening of Mr. Revillame's new show.
Currently, his representations is making arrangement with Hit Bulaga, staff through Mr. deleon to formally announce this challenge.

Although all our comments are merely opinionative in nature, it certainly influences others to participate indirectly on scenarios that are not tolerable and societally non-permissive. The existence of acts of immorality, dis-respectfulness, dishonesty, manipulative and two faced individuals must be discourage and trash out of the show business, specially if the program is shown internationally. Yes, I viewed the clippings, comments, interview made by Christy Fermin in the internet and you were absolutely right on your observations. She is a complete discharge and with Willie, they are a good match. A complete definition of a societal fruitcakes. They are both leaches and use others to make dishonest money, which they are only capable of making. In fact, they should be married and live together for the rest of their lives. I just hope they won't pro-create because the combined species might create monsters.......They should vacate this human planet and settle somewhere were they cannot communicate. Willie was a helper at a Filipino restaurant in Las Vegas. A doctor- owner of the restaurant who is connected to the network gave him a break and endorse him to the Lopezes. That is why he ended up with ABS-CBN. I recognized him as he serve me and talked about his disappointment with the show business in P.I. We even have a picture of him to prove it. If there are no bad people, then we cannot determine or distinguish which are wrong.
