80,693 Examinees Braces For LET January 2014 Exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) of the Philippines announces that a total of 80,693 had registered to take the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) also known as Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) for the January 26, 2014 examination.

The total numbers of examiners came from all fifteen assigned testing centers nationwide namely: Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Catarman Norther Samar, Baybay City Leyte, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Jolo Sulu and Tawi-tawi.

The PRC detailed further that the bulk of LET takers will come from the National Capital Region with an estimated 18,055 examinees, followed by Davao with 8,202, and Cagayan De Oro with 8,152.

Catarman, Northern Samar and Baybay City, Leyte were included as additional testing centers for the January 26 BLEPT - LET due to the unstable condition of building and facilities in the typhoon-hit Tacloban City.

Meanwhile, the examinees from Zamboanga City, Jolo Sulu and Tawi-tawi Testing Centers will have a 3,881; 1,938; and 1,830 registrants. It can be recalled that the LET examination for these provinces were recent due to the armed hostility last year.

The PRC advises the examinees to be at their designated examination site/center before 7:00AM and to bring their notices of admission, two or more pencils (No.2), ballpens with BLACK INK, one piece metered-stamp window envelope, one (1) long brown envelope, and one (1) long transparent (non-colored) plastic envelope on examination day.
