Roxanne Cabanero's Rape Case Trashed

Roxanne Cabanero's rape case against Vhong Navarro was junked by the Department Of Justice (DOJ). The Department Of Justice dismissed the case due to lack of evidence.

According to the DOJ, Cabanero's testimonies and claims were "contradictory, suspicious and of doubtful nature."
It can be recalled that the former Miss Bikini Philippines Pageant contestant filed a rape case against the television comedian on the heat of the illegal detention case between Vhong Navarro, Deniece Cornejo and Cedric Lee.

Roxanne Cabanero, in her complain affidavit with the Pasig City Prosecutor's Office, said that the It's Showtime host raped her when she was an official candidate of the Miss Bikini Philippines Pageant sponsored by Slimmers World from April 11, 2010 to May 5, 2010.

One of the major conflicting fact against the accuser testimony is that she testified that she went down from the hotel on one of the pageant's night and that it was the first time she introduced herself to the respondent.

DOJ's resolution questioned on how she identified the respondent's car when it was only the first time that she will introduced herself to the respondent.

The DOJ also pointed out the accuser's contradicting statement saying she has a curfew hours as a candidate when she was "even the one who asked respondent to drive her around Metro Manila."

The justice department also cited that Cabanero has failed to concretely detailed on how Vhong Navarro had sexually forced her and how she defended herself.
