How To Tutorial - Install Ubuntu 10.04 Operating System
Step by step procedure on Ubuntu linux installation
If you came to this post, chances are you have been using windows for quite some time now, and you want to explore other operating system other than windows.Also, I assume that you have already read some linux-review articles and you should have found Ubuntu as the leading and favorite linux operating system among these review sites.
Sure it is ! Ubuntu is really a gift for humanity. Simply because Ubuntu is plainly Ubuntu, no other versions, paid or not.
Here are some screenshots that I captured when I have installed Ubuntu version 10.04. Ubuntu's version is always updated in six months span, so if you happens to have a different version, installation shouldn't have much different from this, well, unless the version has become too far.
Anyways, here are the screenshots that can guide you.

Step 1.) Choose your language, then click on the "Install Ubuntu 10.04" button.
Step 2.) Choose your location, then click on the "Forward" button to proceed.
Step 3.) Select your keyboard layout, the default is recommended, I just hit on the "Forward" button to proceed.
Step 4.) Choose the location where you want to install ubuntu. Ubuntu can be installed on a separate partition, on the whole disk, or it can also reside on the same partition even there's a Windows operating system installed on that location.
Step 5.)Enter your user credentials, username and password.
Step 6.)Installer show you the information you entered, review and click on the "Back" button, otherwise click on the "Install" button to begin the actual installation.
Step 7.)The next window shows the actual installation process, window display may change from time to time as the progress bar fills up the installation data.
Step 8.)This window will appear telling that the installation of ubuntu operating system is successful. Click on the "Restart Now" button to restart your computer.
Step 8.) Done, your computer now has the latest version of ubuntu OS, enjoy!
