I did watched the fight between Donaire and Sidorenko, the fight was on Anaheim, California yesterday, December 4, 2010.The Ukrainian boxer, Wladimiro Sidorenko was beaten to blood by the Filipino Nonito "Flash" Donaire, making his white skin turned into a messy red, flowing with real blood.
Sidorenko still fights even after round one where he was knocked down, bouncing his body with his twisted ankle. The only round where he wasn't got knocked down is on round two.
"So now I’m knocking, I just need to get past Sidorenko to get to bigger fights and that’s with Fernando Montiel and even Wilfredo Jr. Vasquez Jr. and Juan Manuel Lopez," said Donaire on a press conference. The Filipino Flash is scheduled to fight bantamweight titlist Montiel somewhere on February 2011.
The fight between Donaire and Sidorenko is still on the undercard. But as a Filipino, I too hope to watch him on the main event, just like our pound-to-puond king Manny Pacquiao.
The fight was stopped by the referee after Donaire giving Sidorenko a straight punch on his front face.
A Filipino commentator even said that Donaire is a star in the making, if he wasn't that yet.
