FHM March 2012 Cover Raised Criticism Over Racists Issue
March 2012 FHM Issue Covers Bela Padilla
FHM Philippines had issued a public statement that contains an apology to those who may have offended to their March 2012 cover. It appeared that the FHM Philippines March 2012 cover issue drew criticism over racist issue after their model, Bela Padilla, niece of Robin Padilla poses on a red two piece bikini sorrounded by a black women.
Critics, sensitive as they are, found themselves offended with the magazine cover.
Now here's the good thing.
The whole editorial team of FHM Philippines had decided not to use the suppose-to-be cover for the actual March 2012 issue after the racist controversy.
"When FHM hits the stands in March it will have a different cover. We deem this to be the most prudent move in the light of the confusion over the previous cover execution. We apologize and thank those who have raised their points," - FHM Philippines assured the public.
The photo of Bela Padilla which has the caption "Bela Padilla stepping out of the shadows" will surely not the one we will be seeing on the actual FHM March 2012 issue.
The scrapped cover photo was petitioned via an online portal and currently has 300 signatures as of this writing.
The men magazine being professional as they are also apologized to Padilla "for any distress this may have caused her."
"In our pursuit to come up with edgier covers, we will strive to be more sensitive next time," FHM Philippines said.
Well, that's it, the whole keywordspeak.com team also wants to congratulate FHM Philippines admin for handling the whole issue in the soonest time and in the most humble and professional manner.
