The rumor between Piolo and Shaina was first heard last
2012 when they were observed having special attention to each other during the ASAP musical show in Singapore October of last year.
The rumor strenghtens after Shaina herself posted an instagram photo of her and Pascual while they are out together, decribing him as a "handsome date".
At that time, when confronted directly both answered that they are just close friends and Piolo is worried that the issu might affect their friendship.
A recent exposing news however had revived the rumored tandem when abs-cbn talk show "The Buzz" revealed that the two had been spotted again together several times.
Pascual when interviewed by the "The Buzz" did not deny that Shaina and he had really gone out together.
"Okay naman kami, we're friends. Ang dami naming ginagawa kung anu-ano. ...There are things that we just let happen. But for now, we're good friends," -Piolo said on the interview.
Both party are currently single after Shaina split with John Lloyd Cruz on 2012 while Piolo's last relationship was with KC Concepcion which ended bitterly on 2011.
