Rick Springfield Arrested, Jailed Over DUI Probation

The "Jessie Girl" singer, Rick Springfield, was arrested on Friday on his house at Los Angeles after missing a court date over his 2011 drunken driving case.

The 62 years old rocker was put to jail after police officers took him in with an arrest warrant.

Why didn't he appeared on court?

The singer said that he was not aware that he need to appear on court due to his 2011 case. He had failed to appear on court last Febraury 11 to present that he completed the terms of his plea deal from his case.

"I didn't know that I was supposed appear in court a few weeks ago. It was to do with the old DUI charge and it's been cleared up and i am free to go," "It was to do with the old DUI charge and it's been cleared up and I am free to go."

Rick told his fans over his facebook account with a photo of the police station.

It can be recalled that Springfield was arrested in may 2011 after police officers saw him over speeding on his 1963 Corvette on the Pacific Coast Highway.

The singer apparently had a gig-show at Eagle Mountain Casino in Porterville, California on the day he was arrested.
