May 13, 2013 Election Day Is A Holiday

I'm pretty sure that you have doubt that May 13, 2013 - election day is a non-working holiday because you're on this post, right?

May 13, 2013 is actually a non-working regular holiday.

That means that if you're working, you will be paid in full even if you won't report to work. And you will be paid twice of your regular rate if you do report to work on the election day.

That arrangement is for regular and non-regular employees nationwide as per Department of Labor and Employement's guidelines.

So that's it, since the election day drops on Monday, it's another long vacation to all of us!

So start to make your plans, and be safe!
