Claudine Barretto apologized to Cebu Pacific ground crew members for raising her voice during the controversial airport incident - finally!
It can be recalled that Raymart Santiago said that his wife, Claudine, doesn't need to issue a public apology to the airport crew members that he had raised voice to because, well, Raymart said that she do not have any reason to. This is the statement that Raymart said on an interview on abs-cbn morning show Umagang Kay Ganda last Monday, May 14, 2012.
This was after one of the ground crew's mother, Rosario Ilagan, demanded Barretto to issue a public apology the day before Raymart's interview.
But everything seems to have changed after Claudine sought a way to apologize to the two ground crew members that he scolded on Ninoy Aquino International Airport NAIA Terminal 3 last May 6, 2012.
"[Si Claudine] ang naki-usap at siya ang nag-seek ng meeting na ito para lang maibigay nang personal ang kanyang [paghingi ng] kapatawaran," - Attorney Alex Avisado, lawyer of Claudine and Raymart said on an interview.
The two employees had accepted the apology.
"I humbled myself, nag-apologize naman ako sa pagtaas ng boses ko sa kanila, habang nagko-complain ako sa Cebu Pacific," Claudine said. "Tinanggap naman nila 'yung apology ko, so talagang thankful ako pati sa pamilya nila dahil sobra silang warm na tinanggap ako."
On the side news, Claudine Barretto and Raymart Santiago had made a public statement that they are offering an award to anyone who can produce a video footage that will show the full story over that controversial airport brawl.
The amount however was not specified.
