On his concert, the comedian used the name "Jessica" as one of the famous personalities who wouldn't seem to fit on sexy roles. This had led viewers to think that the name Jessica which Vice Ganda used refers to GMA 7's Vice President for News & Public Affairs - Jessica Soho.
Vice said that Jessica would debut with a movie entitled "Tinimbang Ka Ngunit Sobra," - his playful stir to an epic Filipino film "Tinimbang Ka Ngunit Kulang".
Juicing the jokes out, one can easily tell that he is referring to his subject's weight. His follow-up joke had directly tells that he is indeed playing with his subject, Jessica's weight.
Vice joked that a weighing scale would freek-out should Jessica would step in to it. The comedian said that the weighing scale would complain "one at a time, one at a time", should the fat Jessica would use it.
If you can still stomach the above jokes, his joke about Jessica being raped had apprently went below the belt - sending nitizens' condemning the stage act.
Vice Ganda said that any rape scene with Jessica would have to be a gang rape.
And if you think that's too much, Vice Ganda added that the rapists (that's with "s" minding you) would say "Ipasok ang lechon!" Jessica would then say "Nasaan ang apple?" - using the line from a popular ice tea commercial. Now he played with Jessica's weight issue with his rape joke here.
With this, Arnold Clavio on his morning radio show on dzBB said "Papatulan ko na siya kasi pag di natin siya sinita. Hindi natin alam sino pa'ng isusunod niyang biktimahin".
What say the real Jessica Soho?
Through GMA 7's online news portal, gmanetwork.com, the real Jessica Soho said:
"Rape is not a joke and should never be material for a comedy concert." - the "State of the Nation" and "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" host said.
"I thank all those who shared my hurt and expressed their support, but this should not be about me but about rape victims who suffer tremendously from this terrible crime. The horrors they go through are unspeakable and should never be taken lightly, especially by way of a cruel joke." - Soho added.
With this, GMA reporters as well as nitizens had expressed their concerted attacks against the comedian.
Vice ganda should realize that rape is not a joke. That rape is a form of violence. Pls RT hanggang umabot sa kanya. It can be recall that vice Ganda also criticized the daughter of the country's vice presindent and now senator-elect Nancy Binay via a joke "Gusto ko president ako agad. Yung wala kang background, pero mataas agad, parang ‘yung mga pulitiko lang ngayon. Walang background, pero senador agad." (read it here)

Vice Ganda, sana di mo maranasan maging rape victim. Saglit mong patawa sa concert, buong buhay nilang trauma. @vicegandako @jiggymanicad

Vice Ganda makes a rape joke and I'm bothered by the lack of concern from people. Gates of Hell issue, you get MMDA, CBCP reacting.

Rape is never funny and it shouldn't ever be used in comedy. You could've done better Vice Ganda. That joke was NOT funny.

So I just watched that Vice Ganda Jessica Soho + rape joke clip and... My God. That was not even remotely funny. That was just plain rude.

That Vice Ganda rape joke is just crass. Coy depictions of rape grossly trivializes the horrors embedded in rape.

Awful that Vice Ganda joked abt weight & rape! AND awful that thousands laughed w/ her. Perhaps this prob is more than just abt one person.
