Everyone is asking whether February 25, 2011 is a special holiday for the entire Philippines. So, is it really a long weekend again?

Under Proclamation Number 84, the EDSA Revolution was appointed as special holidays in commemoration of EDSA Revolution happened between February 22 - 25, 1986.

However, reports said that the proclamation, proclamation as it is, will take effect, but the bad news is, the holiday will only take effect on schools and not to the working people who needs to rest more.

No, I am not kidding, that's what I am hearing for now.

This is actually a little annoying because we are all Filipinos right? So what's with the schools-only policy.

How I hope that the president Noynoy will implement this properly.
