Saudi Arabia Bans Philippine Domestic Helpers - OFW
This is because the Philippine (Department Of Foreign Affairs) demanded that an OFW domestic helper should have a salary between 200 - 400 US dollars. The DFA's appeal on OFW being abused on their country might also ha triggered the ban.
Domestic helpers reached for about 80,000 sent to their country alone.
The question is, should we be afraid of this or is this a blessing in disguise. Money in exchange of personal security.
