The emotional veteran actress confirmed to abs-cbn on an interview that her 21 years old beautiful daughter is pregnant to her first child.
Jaclyn Jose and her family decided to end all rumors, that's a good move, we beleive, as there is no point of hiding. There is really no right time, but we believe that this is the right time to tell people about Andi Eigenmann's true condition.
“I just want to tell everyone that, yes, it's true, my daughter is pregnant,” Jose said. “Hindi madali pero kailangan kong tanggapin kasi anak ko siya at mahal ko siya. Wala namang ibang tutulong sa kanya kundi ako at ang kanyang pamilya.”
“I’m taking care of her, akong bahala sa kanya.” -the good mom added.
Jaclyn Jose said that the father of her daughter, ANdi Eigenmann’s child is her former boyfriend who allegedly abandoned her daughter after finding out that Andi is pregnant.
“Wala na sila noon. Iniwanan sila noong nabuntis siya. I’m okay with that. I don’t want to talk about him anymore. I don’t have business with him. I feel angry every time I think of him but that's over na,” Jaclyn Jose firmly said.
Jaclyn said that she had a feeling about the situation even before her daughter, Andi, revealed her condition to her.
“Siyempre, bilang ina, nararamdaman mo na until she finally told me everything,” Andi's mom said.
After learning that her daughter is pregnant, Jaclyn Jose said that she went straight to the church to ask guidance and to collect herself.
“Una siyempre, ang una mong pupuntahan simbahan. Mananalangin ka. Ibigay mo na lang sa Kanya lahat. Sabihin mo, ‘Ama ikaw na ang bahala. Hindi ko kaya ito. Kung ano man ang desisyon mo, tatanggapin ko ito.’ Ang binigay niyang desisyon siyempre kailangan kong tanggapin,” Jaclyn Jose continued on the interview.
And about Andi's ex boyfriend's camp: ‘Yong galit, ayoko nang i-entertain kasi nandiyan na. Acceptance na lang ‘yong sa akin... Andi is my priority, si Andi lang at ang baby. Silang dalawa lang ang concern ko. Wala na akong concern sa ibang may kinalaman.”
After the revelation to their family, Jaclyn Jose said that she is proud to her daughter by keeping the baby. Jaclyn said that their whole family supports Andi for her decision about the baby.
“Noong una, nabigla din siya. After a while, she decided to keep the baby at naging proud naman ako sa anak ko because, at her age, for her to decide on things like that… okay na sa akin ‘yon. I’m proud of her, of what she did, of her decision of keeping the baby,”
“Tanggap lahat ng pamilya ko. Wala namang problema. Mahal namin ‘yan, mahal ng lahat ng pamilya ko si Andi. Alam niya yan, nandito kami behind her all the way,” she added.
When abs-cbn asked Jaclyn Jose's message for Andi's ex boyfriend and his family, Jaclyn Jose said:
“Wala na akong hinihiling sa kanila, ni ayoko silang makita. Ayos na kami. Leave us alone. We’re okay.”
She also appealed to the public no to pre judged her Andi.
Soft hearted as we are, Filipino, who can judge Andi Eigenmann for his misfortune on her boyfriend? She's just a young girl who made no mistake but just loving and giving her whole trust.
We know that Andi is on her way to peak her showbiz career and this is the worst timing for this, but having her talent and face, she surely can comeback after she gave birth. That people will still support her, not because she was a victim, but because she's talented and pretty.
