Bagyong Egay - Storm Egay Update

Bagyong Egay, Typhoon Egay or Storm Egay is the fourth tropical storm that is scheduled to enter Philippines according to Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration or PAGASA.

The last tropical storm didn't hit the Philippines soil leaving minimum disturbance throughout the country. Though it was feared to be a super typhoon, it suddenly spared the Filipinos from its destructive power.

At 4:00 p.m. today, June 17, 2011, Tropical Depression "EGAY" was estimated based on satellite images and surface data at around 250 kilometer East of Guiuan Eastern Samar with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometer per hour near the center. It is forecast to move Northwest at 13 kilometer per hour. Enhance Southwest Monsoon over Palawan and Western Visayas.

Signal Number 1: Catanduanes City, Northern and Eastern Samar.

At 4:00 p.m. today, June 18, 2011, According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, Tropical Depression "EGAY" was estimated based on satellite images and surface data at 130 kilometers Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes (14.3°N, 125.3°E) with maximum winds of 55 kilometer per hour near the center. It is forecast to move Northwest at 17 kilometer per hour.

It is forecast to move Northwest at 17 kilometer per hour.

At 4:00 am today, June 22, 2011, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration or PAGASA said that the Tropical Depression "FALCON" was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 550 kilometers East Northeast of Borongan, Eastern Samar (14.0°N, 130.5°E) with maximum winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center. It is forecast to move Northwest at 15 kilometers per hour.
