As Bagyong Sendong's death toll had reached more than a thousand, it had officially labeled as the most destructive typhoon that had visited the Philippines for the year 2011.
Typhoon Sendong had killed a reported number of 1,010 from different areas on Mindanao, which includes 650 in Cagayan de Oro City (CDO) and 283 from Iligan City, other deaths are tallied from other nearby affected provinces.
Meanwhile, a total of 1,603 was reported to have been injured from the typhoon rage. While the official number of missing person cannot be verified accurately.
The retreival operation is still on going as bodies are continually dug out from under the muds and debris.
With this, everyone are encourage to help the victims of Mindanao in any way they can.
