Though the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) had posted on their weather bulletin that no tropical cyclone had formed inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), heavy rains has been experienced throughout the country.

DepEd however had given the Local Government Units (LGU) of full discretion to suspend classes on all levels if they found it reasonable.
