ABS-CBN, kapamilya actor and performer, AJ Perez was confirmed dead today at 12:20 AM.

The actor was reportedly died in a car accident while returning to Manila after a show on Dagupan City.

AJ Perez, Antonello Joseph Sarte Perez in real life, died from a car accident, 18 years old was pronounced dead on arrival by the hospital in Paniqui, Tarlac. The car accident happened while they are on the abs-cbn van travelling Barangay San Julian, Tarlac City.

Report said that the van was aboard six persons, AJ Perez’s and five other companions were also injured during the crash and were taken to the hospital for immediate treatment. They are Gerardo Perez (AJ Perez's father), driver Christopher Bautista, Christina Ferrer, Edwin Patelos and Danny Linunga.

The report said that AJ Perez and his four other companions were sleeping on the van and that their van was hit on the side by a rushing truck where the young actor's head was leaning.

But before the accident on Tarlac City, AJ Perez sent a tweet regarding his last performance on Dagupan City at exactly 10:33 PM yesterday saying "On the way home already from Dagupan.Long drive ahead.. Thanks to everybody who watched, thanks to zui for the gifts.And hi again to jarred!". See username ajperez17 on twitter.com.
