Another pinay faces death penalty, now in Malaysia

Three Filipinos were just executed on China through lethal injection yesterday.

Now, another Filipino (Pinay) is facing death penalty at Malaysia for the same offense - drug trafficking.

Report said that Aida Dizon Garcia pleaded not guilty before a Malaysian court after being charged of smuggling over eleven kilos of marijuana last year, November.

Report said that Aida Dizon Garcia is not a overseas Filipino worker, but a tourist on that country. She was assigned to be executed via hanging.

Details of the case wasn't detailed yet, but reports said that she went on Malaysia to visit a friend she met online and asked her to bring a luggage that belongs to the friend of the friend of the friend - kinda thing. Garcia was told to be given money for the service.

To cut the story short, Aida Dizon Garcia agreed and brought the luggage to Malaysia where she was caught.

The case is still on going and our ambassador is currently doing all their might to save her from being hang, next hearing is on April 20, 2011.
