Weppy image File Format

Google's New Weppy Image File Format

It is not actually Weppy image file format but it is webP image file format. Though it is properly pronounced as "weppy", the correct spelling is WebP.

An image file format developed by Google Inc. in their desire to make every web page faster, and thus make the internet faster.

According to google, this new image file format decreased an average of 39% after testing for 1,000 images collected from the web.

But this post is dedicated to correct weppy as webp.
