So what we are talking about here ?

It's the upcoming teleserye of ABS-CBN network - Alta, which will showcase calibre actress namely Gretchen Barretto, KC Concepcion, Angelica Panganiban, Luis Manzano, Deither Ocampo, Zanjoe Marudo and Sam Milby. Though rumors said that there are other undisclosed casts.

The bad news is that Alta was immediately cancelled due to an unconfirmed reasons. The said casts and abs-cbn network had not made any comment yet as of press time. Rumors however said that KC Concepcion was given to a bigger project (X-Factor) while Sam Milby is trying his luck for a Hollywood career after turning down two lead roles offered by the Kapamilya network.

While the prime casts were pulled out, it would look like that Alta has undergoing a major recasting and will surely hit the primetime slot soon after the casting gap will be filled and revision to the story line is done.

It can be recalled that the network had already launched a promotion for the Alta in which was suddenly suspended.

News and entertainment bloggers had immediately smelled the smoke and all talking about the postponed / suspended big teleserye of abs-cbn channel 2. They however wish that the teleserye be push through.

On the side note, Luis Manzano told the media that he is excited on his role for the "Alta" because his last acting project was on Dyosa which was aired until 2009.

We even found a facebook fan page of Alta, though we cannot confirm if this is the official page or not since it only has 79 likes as of this writing.

Was it really axed or just posponed?
If push through, it was projected to air on channel two's primtime slot.
