Chinese New Year January 23, 2012 Holiday

Reminder: January 23, 2012 Is A Holiday

This is just to remind everyone that January 23, 2012 is a holiday.

Yup, prepare yourself for another long weekend as January 23, 2012 has been long declared as an official special non-working holiday. That would mean that employees do not need to go to work. Same thing with the students as they do not need to go to school too, and that is for all levels =).

According to Proclamation Number 295 as released by Malacanang:

on January 23, 2012, the Chinese nationals all over the world will celebrate Spring Festival, popularly known as the Chinese New Year, which is one of the most revered and festive events celebrated not only in China but also in the Philippines by both Chinese Filipinos and ordinary Filipinos as well; and the joint celebration is a manifestation of our solidarity with our Chinese Filipino brethren who have been part of our lives in many respects as a country and as a people; 23 January 2012 may be declared as a special (non-working) day without detriment to public interest;

This is an official holiday that was declared in observance of Chinese New Year.

That's it, that's it !

Another opportunity especially to the working individual to steal some time to rest or to proceed to your long planned vacation.

Whatever it is, spend it wisely keywordspeakers!

Happy holidays!
