Jeremy Renner Shoots Bourne Legacy, Philippines
American actor, Jeremy Renner, the lead actor of The Bourne Legacy had arrived on the Philippines.
Jeremy Renner, who also appeared in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol will be filming the fourth installment of The Bourne Legacy on the Philippines.
Earlier this month, the leading lady of the movie, Rachel Weisz, had already arrived on the Philippines, movie casts were also reported to have been on the country.
According Francis Tolentino, the Metro Manila Development Authority Chairman, The Bourne Legacy will be shot on Philippine sites like Intramuros, Navotas Fishport, Marikina City Market, San Andres Market, Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard, Ayala Avenue, Nagtahan, Pasay Taft, Jones Bridge and in El Nido, Palawan.
To be directed by Michael Clayton, The Bourne Legacy was based on the best-selling novel by Tony Golroy will also cast Edward Norton (Primal Fear).
The Bourne Legacy will start filming in the Philippines starting January 11, 2011 to February 15, 2012. With this, the city of Manila has granted the closing of roads that will be affected by the shooting. According to local authorities, this will improve the tourism on the country.
