The Daily Tribune writer Fernan Angeles was shot near his house in Pasig City last Sunday night.

Angeles suffered serious wounds and is still under critical condition with bullets fragments still on his body.

Fernan Angeles suffered six gunshot wounds from a 45-caliber gun, it was reported that he had a bone fracture in his right arm.

Angeles wife, Gemma Angeles, said that they're been eyeing the connection of the illegal sale of narcotics in Pasig City that her husband had previously exposed.

Joyce PaƱares, MalacaƱang Press Corps (MPC) president said Angeles had a heated argument with a group of men outside his house on Sunday nigh while he was out to buy cell phone load.

MPC condemned that attack against their colleges - said on the issued official statement on Monday.

“We are outraged and demand a thorough probe on this dastardly attack,” “We want to know if this is work-related.” - said the press coprs.

Fernan Angeles is 41 years old.
