Powerpoint To Present Corona's Alleged Dollar Accounts
The powerpoint presentation of Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales that would enumerate Chief Justice Renato Corona's dollar account has been allowed on the impeachment trial earlier today, May 14, 2012.
The motion was made by Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago saying “As long as evidence is relevant, it is admissible in court. There is no prohibition of a PowerPoint presentation, there is no categorical prohibition,” as her argument.
In which, the brave and intelligent senator earned applause from the audience inside the trial court (and maybe from the Filipinos who have watched it).
The motion was then moved to a voting system, in which majority of senators supported the proposal. One senator that we have seen not supported the proposal is Senator Joker Arroyo, hmmnnn... sounds familiar?
