Suspension Of Classes, September 27, 2011 Due To Bagyong Pedring
Typhoon, Storm Pedring - Suspension Of Classes
Yesterday, Department of Education (DepEd) announced the suspension of classes for the elementary and secondary level for the afternoon class because of intensified tropical storm Pedring. The suspension of classes was officially issued to NCR area, but suspension of classes to other areas has been issued by their respective local authorities on their own discretion.

However, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecasted tropical storm Pedring to become a full typhoon, typhoon Pedring, and according to its current direction and speed, bagyong Pedring will hit the Philippine soil today, September 27, 2011.
With this, the announcement of suspension of classes for today is something students and parents are eagerly and vigilantly waiting for.
DepEd on the other hand have not yet issued any official announcement for today's suspension of classes on any level.
However, according to the guidelines issued by the DepEd, suspension of classes is automatic on the following conditions.
Signal Number One = Classes on pre-school level is suspended
Signal Number Two = Classes on both elementary and secondary level are suspended
Signal Number Three = All school levels' classes are suspended
