The Cheerdance Competition 2011 for UAAP Season 74 was confirmed to have scheduled on Saturday, September 17, 2011 - 3:00 in the afternoon.

The cheerdance competition 2011 - UAAP 74 will be held at Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City and will also be televised live on Studio 23, gates open 12 noon.
You can get your tickets for the 2011 UAAP Cheerdance Competition at the Araneta Coliseum, Yellow Gate. Ticket was sold starting 8 a.m. yesterday, Wednesday, September 14, 2011.

2. Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion
3. NU Pep Squad
4. DLSU Animo Squad
5. UP Pep Squad
6. FEU Cheering Squad
7. UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe
8. UE Pep Squad
The UP Pep Squad will defend their title against the other seven contending teams. The cheerdance competition is something that the UAAP teams are seriously preparing for, we bet that the rehearsal venues are tightly closed and classified.
However, a revelation from the defending champion, the UP Pep Squad, was announced into public, which says that all cheerleading members will be coloring their hair into blonde for their bollywood theme.
It can be recalled that the UP Pep Squad had their Japanese theme from last year's competition.
The UAAP 74 cheerdance competition was rescheduled from the previous known sched which is Sunday, September 18, 2011.

The University of the Philippines (UP) Pep Squad defended their title with their Madonna-inspired routine for the UAAP Cheerdance Competition 2011. Also, Dessa Salvador from UP was chosen as the “2011 Samsung Stunner” during the UAAP Season 74 Cheerdance competition earlier this day.
The blonde-haired UP cheerdancers radiated with confidence while pulling off an almost perfect performance in front of more than 20,000 spectators at the Smart Araneta Coliseum earlier this afternoon, September 17, 2011.
UP Diliman Pep Squad took home its 2nd straight cheerdance title and the P340,000 grand prize.
De La Salle University (DLSU) Animo Squad got the second place and took home the P200,000 first runner up prize.
Far Eastern University (FEU) Cheering squad’s Indian-inspired theme was deemed good for 3rd place. They took home with P140,000.
