Tropical Storm Quiel Update, September 2011

This has been reported everywhere, tropical storm Quiel had immediately entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility, PAR, and was reported to have picking up both speed and strength as it approaches its path to the Philippine soil.
At 4:00 PM Today, September 29, 2011, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration office (PAGASA), Tropical Storm "QUIEL" was estimated based on satellite images, radar scans and surface data at 1,040 kilometers East of Aparri, Cagayan (18.1°N, 132.8°E) with maximum sustained winds of 110 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 140 kilometers per hour. It is forecast to move West at 13 kilometers per hour.
