Earlier on abs-cbn's tv patrol, it was reported that Matt Evans had a car accident. His car crashed on an electric post damaging the street post and a bus that was parked near where the accident happen.

Matt Evans was driving his Toyota Innova SUV in Project 4, Quezon City, when his car rammed into a Meralco post. The actor swerved to avoid hitting a woman crossing the road, Star Magic's PR head - Thess Gubi said.

The witnesses confirmed that the driver was Matt Evans, they even said that Matt Evans was drunked, the reason why he had an accident. Also, they said that Matt Evans was with some girl while the accident happened.

However, Matt Evans camp denies that his car crashed because he was drunked and he was alone when the car accident happened.

"Okay na siya. He was advised to take a rest. Nasa bahay siya ngayon at nagpapahinga," assured Thess Gubi.

Gubi added that with the condition of Matt Evans' car, it was really a miracle that the actor did survived the accident.

"Kasi after ng aksidente, kapag nakita mo 'yung sasakyan niya, hindi mo aakalain na magiging OK siya. Ang tindi ng impact," the Star Magic official, Thess Gubi further added.

Drunk or not, let us just be thankful that no lives was claimed from the accident.

But this will surely be an another lesson learn for Matt Evans.
