US evangelical Christian broadcaster Harold Camping said that the world would end on May 21, 2011. If it is true, then that would mean that tomorrow will be the end of the humankind.The self proclaimed prophet said that the world would experience earthquakes and other astronomical events that would all contribute to the inhalation of humankind.
However, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) scientist Mario Raymundo said that there is no astronomical event that could make the prophecy even close to possible.
"The planetary alignment is too far to affect us. As for his prediction of a massive quake, there is no basis for it. It won’t happen. This is not true," Raymundo said on the press.
Harold Camping, 89 years old, head of the Christian radio network Family Stations Inc. previously made a failed prediction that Jesus Christ would return to Earth in 1994. This time he create a new claim / prediction that the world would end on May 21 of this year.
However, based on the bible, there should be signs before the end of the world would happen. Judgment day will only occur when great sufferings, the last sign, took place.
It's already pass 6pm here on the Philippines and nothing is happening yet. false prophet i believe.
