Rey Boom Boom Bautista had won on a technical knockout TKO against his Mexican opponent and challenger Miguel Angel Mendoza in the main event of Pino Pride X that took place in Cebu City yesterday night.
Rey Boom Boom Bautista stopped the fight on the sixth round putting Miguel Angel Mendoza on the canvass. The bout took place at the Hoops Dome in Lapu-lapu City.
The Filipino fighter, Boom Boom Bautista, had improved his record with 32 victories with 2 looses while he gave Mendoza the taste of his first loss in his 18 fights.
In the undercard fights, Filipino boxer Rocky Fuentes also won against his opponent, a former WBC International Silver Flyweight Champion, Lookdiaw Tor Buamas of Thailand. Fuentes won over Buamas on the second round of the match via technical knockout.
Fellow Filipino and undercard fighter Genesis "Azukal" Servania also won the match against Mexican's super bantamweight prospect Marcos "Geraldito" Cardenas.
