Erap Jokes Over GMA's Transfer To VMMC

It was confirmed, Gloria Macapacal Arroyo was already inside the Veterans Memorial Medical Center VMMC as part of her hospital arrest.

Earlier today, at around three in the afternoon, the former Philippine president had left St. Lukes Hospital and arrived at the gate of the Veterans Memorial MEdical Center VMMC at around 4:15 in the afternoon.

The mode of transfer was one of the topic that has been on the talk on the media. The media reports has been speculating whether the former president will travel on land or on air. Most speculation guessed that Gloria Arroyo's camp will prefer to air lift her via a helicopter since it will make the transfer more discreet, especially knowing that both St. Lukes and VMMC hospitals have their own helipad.

Here's where the classic Erap Jokes enters.

But it is not the usual Erap Jokes that we are all accustomed to. First, this one came from the former president Joseph Erap Estrada, and secondly --- surprisingly this one has a humor in it.

The former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo took a land travel via an ambulance and not the expected helicopter.

Her camp said that they refused air travel because of the bad weather and that Gloria Macapacal Arroyo has a phobia on helicopter due to past bad experiences.

It can be recalled that DepEd had cancelled school classes earlier today due to heavy rain.

Erap on the other hand gave her personal Erap Jokes on the real reason why Gloria Macapagal Arroyo had refused boarding the helicopter especially when it is parked and ready to be use as her transfer mode.

Erap has this to say:

"Siguro baka natatakot siya sa chopper dahil baka iyong secondhand na chopper na pinagbili sa PNP. Itanong mo kay Secretary Robredo, baka iyong secondhand chopper," Estrada told ANC on Friday.

[Maybe she was afraid to take a chopper because it might be the secondhand chopper that was sold to the PNP. You ask Secretary Jesse Robredo, it might be the secondhand chopper.]

It can be recalled that a plunder case was filed against her husband for selling their owned overpriced (as charged) Robinson R-44 I helicopter to the Philippine National Police (PNP).
