PAGASA, DepEd - Suspension Of Classes

Classes have been suspensded today, August 7, 2012 after heavy rains pours especially on Luzon.

As of today, PAGASA posted on their weather bulettin that no tropical cyclone still exists within PAR, what we are experiencing is a Shallow Low Pressure Area above Luzon.

Meanwhile, the guideline below for the suspension of classes is still in effect according to Department of Education (DepEd).

Signal Number One = Classes on pre-school level is suspended
Signal Number Two = Classes on pre-school, to both elementary and secondary level are suspended
Signal Number Three = All school levels' classes are suspended

Also, the Depeartment of Education had given parents the full discretion whether they will allow their kids to go to school on any rainy day cases.

Here are the list of cancelled classes initiated by the Local Government Units (LGUs).

Heavy rains and floods made some local government units (LGUs) and schools to still suspend classes on August 7, 2012, Tuesday.
