This is the message that circulated like a wild fire online on a social networking sites.

The message said that the former Eraserheads and now Pupil band frontman is dead. However, Ely's manager, Day Cabuhat, defied any truth about the rumors, and said that it is really nothing but a plain rumor.

"He (Ely) is alive and well and eating pistachios," Cabuhat said on an interview.

The manager said that Ely, 37, just laughed after hearing the report that he died after undergoing an angioplasty last September 1. Angioplasty is an operation where the blood vessel of a patient is attempted to be widen due to narrow or obstructed veins.

It appears that the news was not new to Ely Buendia as he replied on a text message to his manager 'Am I dead again?'.

Diane Venture, Pupil band's co-manager appealed on media to 'stop these extremely false and insensitive rumors. The guy has a family and has people who love him and are deeply concerned about his well-being.' - 'is just very off-putting, malicious, and highly inconsiderate.' the co-manager added.

To laugh the old same news, Ely tweeted 'Next time na may magkalat pa na patay na 'ko di na talaga 'ko maniniwala (Next time someone spreads a rumor that I’m dead, I won't believe it anymore.)'

This false news was also circulated last 2008.
