Porsche Car Is Sold - President Benigno PNoy Noynoy Aquino III
Porsche Car Sold For 4.5 Million
Manila, Philippines - The president himself had told the media that he already sold his controversial 2007 sportscar, his porsche. The president told he media that the reason him selling his luxury car is that the Presidential Security Group or PSG is having a hard time securing him. It was later confirmed by Abigail Valte, deputy spokesperson of President PNoy Noynoy Aquino, that the porshe had really been sold because it pauses "security risks" and not for anything else.Who bought the president's porsche car is unknown as Valte said on DZMM interview that the transaction was private and they have no details for it, however, she told that it was sold for the same price it was bought last year.
The president's porsche was bought and sold for Php. 4.5 million pesos.
The president on the interview said that since he cannot use the car, he just decided to sell it, rather than letting it deteriorate on the garage. He did not told who bought the car or if he plans to buy for a replacement, the same thing happen why he got the posche in the first place, selling his BMW that is.
“I hope that’s the last question on the car that’s no longer in my possession,” the President said to the media men.
We do not know if the Aquino camp had just decided to let the car go because the president's popularity ratings had gone drop since the porsche has been purchased. It can be recalled that the president's porsche had gained unforgivable criticism from all factions, the most popular is Mae Paner's Juana Change Porsche video on youtube.
President Benigno Aquino III defended that he bought the porsche car as her mode of relaxation to his very stressful job, that the relax mind can help him in his decision making.
It was reportedly that the president drove his porsche car with a neck-breaking speed along national highways during midnight on his way home at Tarlac City.
His controversial car had been blamed for his popularity ratings drop from recent months due to his alleged insensitivity to the plight of poor Filipinos.
Keywordspeak dot com beleives that this is agood move for the president. Sure he bought it with his own money, let us not argue with that, but being a public figure as he is, he really shouldn't buy a luxury car while a regular employee is only earning about 500 per day. Can you count how many 500 on 4.5 million ?
But the question is, can he buy a porsche after his term? Wouldn't he be accused of enjoying ill gotten wealth?
If that would be the case, it's hard to imagine where would the president place himself, saan siya lulugar diba?
Well, that's the beauty of not being the president, isn't it?
But we are against to the fact that it was sold on the same price, it should have been sold for a much higher price. That is because of the fact that it was used by the president of the Philippines, shouldn't that add to the price?
