Okay, this is not a dictionary site but this time we will define a certain term that has been gaining its popularity and becoming a common word that has becoming widely used throughout the country.

Enter "Noynoying" - a word that has been used to humilate the current Philippine president, Benigno PNoy Noynoy Aquino III.

So what's Noynoying really means?

According to Anakbayan, a youth group that is known in making protests - Planking is out, noynoying is in. Just sit or lie on the ground and do nothing.

Noynoying's popularity is indeed taking the same pace as planking, it can be recall that planking's origin came from abroad and has an international campaign means, not like the Noynoying that was just invented locally. But it is indeed one of the most fast rising term in history.

Anakbayan also made a simple guide about this term:
1.) Get a group of people
2.) Find a public place
3.) Act like a stupid lazy person
4.) Take a picture of your group
5.) Post it online

One of the popular definition is:
..that idle moment when you are supposed to do something but is not doing anything.

Noynoying had became viral and had top the trending keyword on twitter and other social networking sites. Nitizens even created a twitter and facebook fanpage for the term.

Transportation Secretary Manuel Roxas II defended the president at the weekly media forum Kapihan sa Diamond Hotel in Manila last March 26, 2012.

Mar Roxas gave her own definition of Noynoying.

“For me Noynoying means somebody who always tells the truth. For me Noynoying means somebody who is careful about the people’s money, not the kind of person who spends the people’s money carelessly. For me Noynoying is somebody who never allows politics to trap the people’s interest or conversely people’s interest is always ahead of personal interest,”
