The pilot episode of The Voice Philippines had created bashers attacking Lea Salonga over her alleged over acting appearance.
It looks like her jumpy and full of energy performance, much like Charice Pempengco's behavior on X-Factor Philippines had irritated some Filipinos.
These critics had posted tweets and ensured that their opinion would reach Salonga by tagging her.
On defense, Tony Award-winning singer and Broadway star - Lea Salonga also posted tweets to answer her new breed of bashers.
Why tag me if you have nothing nice to say? Stop it. You’re just being rude.

Haters gonna hate, and that’s fine and good. But don’t tag me. It’s like taking a dump then asking me to look at it. Rude.

Here are some of the tweets that attacked her.

Um, Lea, mali yata ang rhythm ng indak mo sa upuan — hindi kumpas sa kanta #TheVoiceofthePhilippines

Another twitter user also made the same sentiments and even included Apl.De.Ap saying: "@larzlarzlarz: Over acting sina Lea Salonga at apl.de.ap bilang mga coach ng The Voice of the Philippines."
