With this, Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda had stated that the Presidential Management Staff (PMS) and Secretary to the Cabinet Rene Almendras are now collecting the achievements of the different government agencies which can be reported on the upcoming SONA.

Rene Almendres said on an interview that the Philippine Development Plan has been previously revised and adjustments are geared toward generating more employment and developing the countryside to sustain domestic economic growth.

It was also reported that the president had held a meeting with his cabinet members to conduct a full-blown review of economic issues from the past three years of his administration.

The secretary to the cabinet said that the said meeting that lasted ten hours had tackled programs and policies, all that worked-out and even those that did not.
