The franchise of the popular reality game show had started on Philippine television that showed the heavyweight twelve contestants aiming for the title as the first 'The Biggest Loser - Pinoy Edition' grand champion.
The giant network, abs-cbn launched the game show with Sharon Cuneta as the main host.
The twelve contestants all need to loose their weight and the person who shed the most weight will get the title of one million pesos plus a prize package which includes a condo unit.
All twelve contestants will undergo rugged training and strict diet to test their physical and phsycological limits and willpower to achive the ultimate goal of the show - to loose as much weight as they can.
