Typhoon Julian Updates
Two tropical cyclones was confirmed to have existed within Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), details below.
At 4:00 a.m. today, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, the eye of Typhoon "IGME" was located based on satellite images and surface data at 220 kilometers North Northwest of Basco, Batanes (22.2°N 121.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 140 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 170 kilometers per hour. It is forecast to move West Southwest at 15 kilometers per hour. Meanwhile, Typhoon "JULIAN" was located at 1,050 kilometers East of Basco, Batanes (20.1°N 133.2°E) with maximum sustained winds of 150 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 185 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 15 kilometers per hour.

At 4:00 a.m. today, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, the center of Tropical Storm "IGME" was located based on satellite images and surface data at 370 km Northwest of Basco, Batanes (22.5°N 118.6°E) with maximum sustained winds of 100 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 130 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 13 kph. Meanwhile, Typhoon "JULIAN" was located at 970 km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes (23.2°N 132.2°E) with maximum sustained winds of 150 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 185 kph. It is forecast to move Northwest at 15 kph. Southwest monsoon affecting the rest of Luzon, the whole Visayas and Mindanao.

AUGUST 26, 2012 UPDATE
At 4:00 am today, the center of Typhoon "JULIAN" was located at 850 km Northeast of Basco, Batanes (25.1°:N, 129.8°E) with maximum sustained winds of 175 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 210 kph. It is forecast to move Northwest at 15 kph. Southwest monsoon affecting Luzon and Western Visayas.
Typhoon Julian is officially out of Philippine Area of Responsibility, PAGASA said.
Typhoon "JULIAN" is now out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) heading towards the Southern islands of Japan.
