Yahoo! Southeast Asia Newsroom had earlier posted an article with their misspelling headline, "Gwendoline Ruais soars as Miss World runner-up" said the title tag.

Miss Philippines, Gwendolyn Ruais is known to be the real and official spelling of the Philippine candidate for the recently concluded Miss World 2011 held at Earls Court in London on November 6, 2011.

Gwendolyn Ruais was hailed as the first runner up.

It is though very confusing because the spelling of Philippine representative's name to the Miss World 2011 on the photo caption is correct - Gwendolyn Ruais.

It appears that a typographical error is just on the title and on the body of the article.

The misspelling appeared on the title of the article and also mentioned three more times on the body of the post.

The said article was written by Yahoo!'s OMG blogger - Gerry Plaza.

Other article from Yahoo! Southeast Asia Newsroom that had the name misspelled was the article titled "Why Gwendoline wants to compete in Miss World" written by another Yahoo's OMG blogger named Maridol Rañoa-Bismark. The article also had the title misspelled and two other instances on the body.

Both article was posted about not more than an hour ago as of this writing, 11/07/2011 - 20:14.

It can be noted that Yahoo! Philippines also posted the wrong photo of Ram Revilla on their first article about Ram Revilla's death. Luigi Revilla, oldest child of Senator Bong Revilla appeared on the article, Yahoo! editor gave his deepest apologies to Luigi Revilla, his family, friends and the readers about the mishap.
