Budoy is the story of a mentally challenged child by a well-renowed family of doctors who are bound with success but cannot have a child. The two couple then decided to perform an artificial insemination. The outcome became "Budoy" a blessing to the family of Maniegos but later became an embarassment to the family as they discovered that their son is suffering from Angelman syndrome, which delays his intellectual development as he grows older.
Budoy tackles the story of the lead character, Budoy, who is mentally challenged, and his family, relationships and other social issues.
