The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) had posted their latest weather bulletin today, November 7, 2011 at 5PM.
At 8 am today, PAGASA said that the Shallow Low Pressure Area (SLPA) is now outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and was estimated based on satellite images and surface data 480 kilometers West Southwest of Basco, Batanes (19.7°N, 117.0°E) however its trough affecting Calayan and Batanes Group of Islands.
There is officially no tropical cyclone within the PAR, the rain falls that the country is experiencing is due to Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).
