Samsung Galaxy Y, Entry Level Android Phone
Samsung Galaxy Y - where Y stands for "Young" is the cheapest andriod phone available in the local market today, Philippines. Samsung Galaxy Y targets the young generation market, mostly students and the not-so-afford level that is why Samsung Galaxy Y's price is 5,990 pesos. I even saw one cellphone store on a mall that has a price tag of 5,780 pesos for their brand new unit packed with one year warranty.
Smart network even offer their own version which they called Samsung Galaxy Y - Netphone Edition which you can get for free with their plan 349 and plan 499. You can though get it from smart outside the plan with the regular price of 5,990 which includes a free 1,000 pesos worth of load.
Samsung Galaxy Y is indeed the hottest android phone in the Philippines right now as it came out with the updated Android Gingerbread operating system, newer than the Samsung Galaxy Mini which only came in with Andriod Froyo OS.
