Betong Snatched Survivor Philippines Grand Winner Title

Betong is the Survivor Philippines 2012 grand winner. Betong, real name Albert Sumaya is the winner of the Kapuso network reality show Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Doubles Edition.

Betong beats the other final contestant on the Survivor Philippines final three namely Mara Lopez Yokohama - Star Magic member Batch 13 and Stef Prescott - StarStruck: The Next Level contestant. Betong beats the other two during the show's finale episode last February 10, 2012 - Friday.

Betong got the most numbers of votes from the jury after getting four votes while Mara and Stef got two and one.

Survivor Philippines jury were composed with TV host KC Montero, comedienne Maey Bautista, athletes Arnold Aninion and John Odulio, actors Chuckie Dreyfrus and Arthur Solinap and commercial model Gino Dela Peña.

The original twenty (20) castaways stayed in competition premises at San Vicente, Palawan for thirty six (36) days. The final three then outplayed the other seventeen (17) castaways and sent them home.

Betong took home three million pesos as the grand prize.
