Iwa Moto Still Under Contract From GMA-7
GMA-7 Holds Iwa Moto
Iwa Moto was put to hot seat after her recent hosting raket from TV5's Wiltime Bigtime was suddenly halted. After appearing on Wiltime Bigtime as co-host, GMA-7 immediately send a letter to TV5, addressed to Mr. Willie Revillame. GMA-7 letter informed Mr. Revillame that Iwa Moto is under exclusive contract to them which prevent her from appearing to any show outside their station.
Iwa reacted and said that she doesn't have a guarantee to her contract with the Kapuso network.
“Meron po kasi sa kontrata namin [between her and GMA] na dapat mutual ‘yung understanding na gagawin ko lahat ng gusto nilang gawin pero bibigyan nila ‘ko ng pagkakataon para mabuhay.
“Wala po kasi akong guarantee [sa kontrata]. Bale po ‘pag walang trabaho, walang sweldo,” -Iwa revealed.
Iwa Moto on her interview with Cristy on Paparazzi said that she believed that her mother network pulled her from any projects because of her controversial break-up with her longtime non-showbiz boyfriend Mickey Ablan last year.
Her message to her current bosses who are tying her up ?
“Nagpaalam po ako dahil sabi ko po sa inyo may sakit ang nanay ko [pero] hindi niyo po ako pinayagan. Hindi naman po pupuwede na pabayaan ko na lang ang nanay ko. At nakiusap rin po ako n’ung Pasko kung ano po’ng ipangno-Noche Buena namin, pero wala po akong natanggap.
“Kaya po ako naghahanap ng way para mabuhay, hindi po para i-disrespect kayo dahil mataas po ang respeto ko sa inyong lahat,” - Iwa Moto tearfully expressed.
Iwa Moto haven't received any projects from GMA-7 for already eight months.
