Hurricane Irene To Hit East Cost Soil On August 27, 2011 @~5PM

Hurrican Irene had threatened fifty five million residents on easten states with the wind of 115 miles per hour (185 kilometers per hour) that is expected to have a dangerous as well as costly impact on US.

According to yahoo news website, two million was already ordered to leave and evacuate to safety from the eastern seaboard due to hurricane Irene. Meanwhile, New York city local government had shutdown the entire line of subway network to prevent and accident due to the destructive natural disaster.

US president Barack Obama told Americans to be vigilant in taking precautions about the hurricane. "Don't wait. Don't delay," the president said on a media briefing after returning on his summer vacation a day earlier. "I cannot stress this highly enough: If you are in the projected path of this hurricane, you have to take precautions now." - president Barack Obama added to the public.

"All indications point to this being a historic hurricane," Obama further said.

The warnings were already issued from North Carolina to New York and were also posted father north to the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard of Massachusetts in preparation for the Hurricane. The evacuation was issued to the one million residents of New Jersey, 315 thousands residents of Maryland, 300 thousands residents of North Carolina, 200 thousands of Virginia and to the 100 thousands residents of Delaware, totalled to 2.3 million lives.

"This is probably the largest number of people that have been threatened by a single hurricane in the United States," a geography professor at Florida State University, Jay Baker said on the media.

"We've never done a mandatory evacuation before and we wouldn't be doing it now if we didn't think this storm had the potential to be very serious," Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York said on a news conference.
