At 4:00 p.m. today, June 1, 2012, Tropical Storm "AMBO" was estimated based on satellite images, radar and surface data at 190 kilometers Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes (15.1°N, 125.5°E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kilometers per hour. It is forecast to move north northwest at 15 kilometers per hour.
