Dolphy Undergoes Dialysis

DOLPHY DIES TODAY, JULY 10, 2012: READ FULL STORY HERE.
Let me start this article by saying that the comedy king, Dolphy, is not dead. Rodolfo Vera Quizon, Sr. in real life however is currently on critical condition and is under a twenty hours monitoring.
Dolphy's son, Eric Quizon, said that though his father is on critical condition, Dolphy's vitals were stable overnight. And because of this, his doctors suggested that Dolphy should undergo dialysis.
The dialysis that Dolphy underwent earlier today, June 21, 2012 at 02:40 p.m. resulted on some positive outcome, according to Eric Quizon.
“This dialysis will help support ang kidney ng daddy ko. It lessens the excess body fluids na nasa katawan ng daddy ko at the same time nawawala ang mga toxins,” - Eric said.
Yesterday, Eric said that his father has been suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). COPD is a progressive lung disease that makes it hard to breathe.
One postive note is that Eric said that their family caught Dolphy opening his eyes voluntarily.
“Ang maganda dito kasi, somehow nagmulat siya ng kanyang mata at tumingin siya sa paligid. Natuwa ang mgakapatid ko, kaming lahat, kasi alam namin na nadidinig niya kami. May konting kasiyahan dahil kumbaga nagkaroon ng opportunity ang ilang mga kapatid namin na makita siya na nagmulat ang mata and somehow really trying to communicate more than just like 'yung binubulungan namin or sinasabihan namin ng mga pinapasabi ng mga nagmamahal sa kanya,” - Eric said.
Eric said that they are relying to each other for their strength.
“Ang pamilya namin na umaasa na makakasama at makakapiling namin ang aming ama,”
Dolphy will turn 84 this July 25.
